Policies
Privacy, non-discrimination, and accessibility.
Grant reviewers look for these statements. So do the people we serve. Both deserve to find them easily.
Non-discrimination
Equal opportunity statement.
Journey to Recovery Behavioral Health and Wellness Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, genetic information, height, weight, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal or Michigan law — in admissions, service delivery, employment, volunteer opportunities, or board service.
Journey to Recovery serves adult men age 18 and older. This is a program-design decision reflecting the residential nature of the facility and the population the program is structured to serve; it is not a judgment about who deserves care. We refer individuals outside our population to appropriate providers.
Individuals receiving medication for opioid use disorder are welcome. We do not require discontinuation of prescribed medication as a condition of admission or continued stay.
Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities. To request one, contact us at [email@yourdomain.org] or [phone].
